1. Who is responsible
This website and the client portal are operated by IoT-Tech.net. For any question about your personal information, email contact@iot-tech.net.
2. Information we collect
We only collect the information you provide:
- Contact form: name, email and your message.
- Client portal account: first and last name, email, phone, company, role, website, your IoT project details (device type and count, service needed, message) and address.
- Password: never stored in clear text — only a cryptographic hash is kept.
We collect no sensitive data and do not buy information from third parties.
3. How we use it
Your information is used to respond to your requests, create and manage your account, prepare a quote, deliver and follow up on our services, and contact you about your project. We never use it for advertising and never sell it.
4. Hosting and security
The site and portal data are hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure (Pages and D1 database). Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) and your account is protected by a secure session. Because Cloudflare runs a global network, your information may be processed on servers located outside Quebec, with appropriate safeguards.
5. Cookies
We use a single, strictly necessary cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in to your client area. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.
6. Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time.
7. Your rights (Law 25)
Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector ("Law 25"), you have the right to access, correct, withdraw consent, request deletion and obtain portability of your information. To exercise these rights, email contact@iot-tech.net. If unsatisfied, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
